Account Deletion

Closing accounts, deleting personal data, backups and exceptions.

Last updated: 12 October 2026

1. Deletion requests

Users may request account deletion from the Delete Account area or via the official email address. For security, the requester's authority over the account is verified. Where the request is made by email, identity and authorization are checked through a secure, proportionate method. Available request channels do not restrict additional statutory rights or complaint procedures.

2. Thirty-day waiting period

A 30-day waiting period begins once the request is confirmed. The account is not yet deleted during this period. Signing in cancels the previous deletion request, and the user is informed. When the period ends, the account is closed and personal data no longer required for the service is deleted, subject to statutory exceptions.

3. Data deleted

Profile details, personal files, user-associated Muxtar Voice texts, generated audio and speech-generation histories are destroyed in accordance with the deletion procedure. Service records not needed for lawful recordkeeping should not be retained. Where Muxtar Voice has a separate 90-day automatic deletion policy, account closure also includes the applicable files without waiting for that separate period to end.

4. Data retained by law

Tax, accounting, evidence of disputes, necessary security records and other statutory retention obligations are preserved separately. These records must be segregated from the active profile, kept only for required purposes and periods, and deleted or lawfully archived afterwards. We do not make the misleading promise that all records can be immediately erased.

5. Backups

Following account deletion, server backups containing older personal data must be rotated out within 90 days at the latest. Backups should be encrypted and access strictly restricted. Any restoration must prevent previously deleted accounts or information from returning to the active system. Exceptions apply to information whose separate retention is mandatory under law.

6. Users with active domains

If the user has an active domain, account deletion can affect domain administration and details that the registrar must retain. Support should explain suitable alternatives, such as independent control of the domain, a lawful transfer, changes to contact details or other options. An active domain must not be used as a pretext to unreasonably and indefinitely deny a lawful personal-data deletion request. Details held by the registrar or registry remain subject to their applicable legal obligations.

7. Credits and downloads

Before deletion, the user should be informed of their remaining credits and the effects of closure. Refund issues concerning credits are governed by the Payment and Credit Terms and mandatory legal rights. Before deletion, the user may filter their information by category and date and download a ZIP archive; the password must be checked again first.

8. Withdrawal of consents

Optional consents for marketing, advertising data sharing and AI training must be terminated when the account closes, and future processing must stop. Certain prior lawful operations may be irreversible; the limitations are explained in the Privacy Policy.

9. Requests and complaints

Account deletion and personal-data requests: info@muxtar.pro.az; legal contact: info@muxtar.pro.az. The internal response target is seven business days, with any shorter mandatory statutory deadline prevailing. Users retain the right to contact competent authorities and courts.

Current status: The account service is not connected to the site yet. The 30-day confirmation, waiting and cancellation process, the e-mail notices and the removal from backups will apply once the account service is connected.
